Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has come up for an Accounts Payable Manager to be a part of a successful and highly reputable business in South Oxfordshire.
Your new Role
- Line management of the accounts payable team
- Maintain master data and manage communications with suppliers
- Invoice capture – ensure automated OCR system operates effectively
- Workflow processing – oversee automated workflow solution
- Supplier payments – ensure successful processing of weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reporting
- Stakeholder and supplier relations
- Maintain and improve internal controls
- Process improvements
- Ad hoc projects
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Background in a fast-paced accounts payable/finance department
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Experience with process automation tools and workflow systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and MS Office, especially Excel
- A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative leadership style, with a focus on developing people and nurturing talent
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, supportive approach to resolving queries
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
What You'll Get in Return
